Learning Manager & School Lead for Employability

Clare has 11 years management experience working in schools and colleges across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Working for a local secondary school Clare managed a Pupil Inclusion Unit and then moved into Post 16 to develop and manage the 14-16 curriculum. During this time she was seconded to work for the Local Authority and worked in partnership with a range of schools, employers and colleges to develop vocational programmes.

She spent four years as a Head of Department managing the Special Needs and Transitions provision and has a wealth of experience in Special Educational Needs, including personalised learning, behaviour management and quality assurance. She has worked with a range of Awarding Bodies to develop life and employability skills programmes, which have challenged, motivated and engaged learners onto their next stage of learning.
