Chad Awards 2019

Ross Walters from R.E.A.L. Creative Digital has been shortlisted in the Apprentice of the Year category for the 2019 Chad Business Excellence Awards.

The Chad Business Excellence Awards are one of Mansfield’s highest profile awards, and attract a wide range of entries from across all sectors and from both small and larger organisations.

This recognition of Ross’ hard work follows his ‘Highly Commended’ accolade at the Mansfield and Ashfield 2020 Awards earlier this year.

As a Creative Digital apprentice, Ross’ role covers supporting teaching and learning. This involves the delivery of course work, instructing learners on the different types of software used and also showing them new techniques. Ross is also involved with commercial projects, and has worked with Sony Music America, County Battery, Switch Electrical Supplies, Sherwood Wolf Hunt and many others.

As part of the awards process, Ross will be meeting Mansfield Mayor Andy Abrahams to talk about his experience as an apprentice in the workplace.

Ross said: “I am delighted to be shortlisted for the award – I love working at Creative Digital at R.E.A.L.

“I would like to thank Neil and Dan at Creative Digital for giving me the opportunity to do the apprenticeship, and also for the support they’ve given me whilst being an apprentice. It’s been a pleasure working at R.E.A.L Creative Digital and I look forward to working here for many years to come.”

Everyone at R.E.A.L. wishes Ross every success for the awards ceremony on November 28th at Portland College, Mansfield.

RAPS Mansfield will became RIS Mansfield on 27th May. The new RIS website will be launching shortly.
