Community Spirit Competition
In response to the ongoing situation with Covid-19, learners at R.E.A.L. Education have continued to engage with their local community (and beyond!) to demonstrate kindness and thanks.
R.E.A.L.’s ‘Community Spirit’ themed competitions started last month, with learners writing letters to local elderly residents, making posters and coming up with ideas for helping the local elderly community.
For the next Community Spirit competition, learners were asked a 100th birthday card for Captain Tom Moore (which were then sent to him), use a rainbow theme to make a display/poster for their front window to show support to the NHS and spread hope, and to write a poem to say thank you to staff who work as carers in the community, care homes or NHS staff.
There have been some brilliant entries so far! Have a look on R.E.A.L. Education’s Twitter page and also above this article for brilliant examples of learners’ work.
