Creative Competitions
In June, there were two R.E.A.L.-wide activities running to really engage learners – an eSafety competition and a โPride Monthโ competition.
For the eSafety competition, learners were asked to produce creative pieces of work to highlight some dangers of sharing information and images online.
There was also a competition to celebrate ‘Pride Month’ (June) where learners were encouraged to produce posters, poems, PowerPoints, videos or postcards.
Linda Rigley, Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE) Curriculum Lead at R.E.A.L. Education has been coordinating the competitions. Linda said: โWe had some fantastic entries – our learners really engaged with these themes.โ
You can see some of the fantastic examples of the advice and work entered by our learners at the side of this article.
