Enterprising Christmas Fayres

All Welcome

On Friday 14th December, R.E.A.L. learners will be organising and running their own Christmas Fayres as part of a special R.E.A.L. wide Christmas Enterprise Project.

Learners taking part have been given £5 each, and have the opportunity to hold stalls at hubs across R.E.A.L. to try and make their £5 grow. They could sell produce such as cakes or Christmas decorations, or raise money in other ways – the more creative the better!

There will be prizes for the fayre that makes the most profit, and also for the most enterprising ideas. All profits will go to a chosen charity.

Clare Walker, School Lead for Employability said: “The enterprise fayres offer pupils the opportunity to develop essential skills that will prove invaluable both in their academic life and future careers, including; numeracy, literacy, teamwork, problem solving, money management, leadership and creativity.

“The fayres also help to encourage an enterprising spirit and boost learner’s confidence – they are great fun too!!
