R.E.A.L. Continuing Professional Development
Last month, over 34 R.E.A.L. tutors took part in a continuing professional development (CPD) workshop at Concorde Hub, Mansfield.
The workshop last month was part of a nationwide Mental Health awareness campaign with children and young people across schools in the UK.
The tutors who took part in the training will gain a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Children & Young People’s Mental Health and also the opportunity to gain further qualifications through the CPD provider, Learning Curve Group.
Dawn Hembrow, Learning Manager at R.E.A.L. Independent School said: “It was great to see such a brilliant turn out of tutors at the workshop. Any deeper understanding of mental health will enhance the staff skills of our staff even further – and ultimately benefit our learners.
“It’s fantastic that R.E.A.L. can offer this free CPD for staff members.”
