R.E.A.L. Creative Digital has a Rising Star!
R.E.A.L. student Lauren has been impressing her teachers with her enthusiasm and consistently high standard of work.
Lauren attends R.E.A.L. Creative Digital three days per week and is currently working towards a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Practice.
The qualification is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and provides students with the knowledge, skills and understanding required to progress to degree-level study and employment in the creative media sector.
Since joining R.E.A.L. in 2019, Lauren has already achieved a Level 2 Diploma in Graphic Design. Her high standard of work has meant that Lauren has been given the opportunity to work on a number of design projects within the commercial arm of R.E.A.L. Creative Digital, such as this brilliant animated logo.
Neil Kellow, Lead Teacher of Creative Digital at R.E.A.L. Education, said “The standard of Lauren’s work is exceptional. She needs very little guidance and consistently goes out of her way to learn new skills and apply them to her work. This has led to her successfully delivering on a number of commercial projects.”
Lauren’s work has also been displayed on the R.E.A.L. Creative Digital advertising screens, which can be seen in Pleasley and Mansfield.
Lauren has selective mutism and alongside her teachers, they have worked together to come up with creative ways of communicating, including the use of tutorials and videos.
Neil said “We are immensely proud of the progress Lauren has made. Her work is already at the level of that of a commercial freelance content writer. She has really begun to shine and has become a key and valued member of the team here at R.E.A.L Creative Digital. She has all of the skills and the talent to succeed in her chosen career path.”
