R.E.A.L. Help from a Local Business

Chesterfield family business, Original Recipes Ltd. have kindly donated 20 pots of traditionally made potted beef for R.E.A.L. learners entitled to free school meals.

The challenge of ensuring that R.E.A.L. learners receive their free school meal provisions has been met with enthusiasm by R.E.A.L. staff members. Regular deliveries of food, vouchers and recipe cards have all been undertaken during lockdown.

This much appreciated generous donation from Original Recipes will go directly to learners and their families.

William Sutherland, Managing Director at Original Recipes said: “We hope that R.E.A.L. families enjoy our products.

“My family supplied products during the 2nd World War to help feed the nation, and we feel privileged to be able to do the same thing today and support families as much as we can.”

Original Recipes are working with an organisation called Open Kitchens to raise funds to produce food that they can then provide to R.E.A.L. and other organisations in need. Click here to see their fundraising page and to learn more about the project.
