R.E.A.L. Students get published
We’re absolutely thrilled to say that two of R.E.A.L. Independent School’s Key Stage 3 learners have been chosen to have their work published!
R.E.A.L. learners, Scott and Ebony, entered the national Young Writers competition, ‘Through Their Eyes’, which invited students, aged between 11 – 18 years, to write a poem from someone or something else’s point of view.
This competition with Young Writers has been running for 29 years and, having received over 10,000 entries, we’re so proud that not one but two of our learners have been chosen to have their work published!
R.E.A.L. Education Learning Manager, Stacey Edwards, said: “The learners have excelled themselves, showing off their amazing writing skills and dedication to edit and improve their work for entry.”
Scott and Ebony’s work will be featured in the Young Writers book: ‘Through Their Eyes – Future Voices’ which is due to be published on 31st October. A copy of the book will be available within R.E.A.L. hubs.
