Learners at the World Skills UK Show

Last month, some R.E.A.L. Independent School and R.E.A.L. Alternative Provision School learners and tutors visited the World Skills UK Show at the Birmingham NEC.

The Skills Show is the nation’s largest skills and careers event. Its aim is to help shape the future of a new generation by helping young people to go further and faster in their careers.

The learners explored hundreds of great career ideas at the show, including jobs of the future.

Dawn Hembrow, Learning Manager at R.E.A.L. Independent School accompanied the learners to the show. Dawn said: β€œIt was a really inspirational day and the learners were really engaged – especially with the hands-on stand activities.

β€œThe visit definitely helped to spark future potential careers ideas for them – they all had an unforgettable experience.”
